THE WEEKEND WARRIORS

Warrior #1: Bill Haas

(FantasyDraft – $19600, DraftKings – $9100)

Fresh off a T36 finish at the Masters, Haas heads to Hilton Head looking to continue on his solid string of performances this season. He’s made the cut in each of his 10 starts and has brought home seven top 25s and 3 top 10s.

Carrying Haas through the season so far has been his ability to avoid trouble. His 69.19 Scrambling percentage which ranks third on Tour has lead to a mirrored third place rank in Bogey Avoidance. Add in the fact that he’s currently 19th in Greens In Regulation and we find ourselves with a golfer who should find themselves with an advantage on the field when playing the 15/18 holes that average over par.

Haas has played here at Harbour Town three of the last four seasons and has finishes of 14th, 31st, and 24th. The course suits him in that it requires less-than-driver off of many tee boxes; Haas ranks ninth on Tour in SG:Total on courses where the field average Driving Distance is under 280 yards.
