Week Sixteen NFL Picks

NFL Week Sixteen Picks

This week is a weird slate because of Christmas. They still had a Thursday Night Football game, the main slate is considered the games played on Saturday (Christmas Eve) and they put a couple marquee games on Sunday (Christmas Day) and still have Monday Night Football. I have highlighted the players who I like for the main slate on Saturday (Christmas Eve).

The NFL Week Sixteen Picks:

Cash Games

Quarterbacks:

Drew Brees ($8500 on FD, $7400 on DK) –  Brees is averaging over 350 yards per game at home this year. He just put up 389 yards and four touchdowns on the Cardinals in Arizona. The Bucs just allowed Dak Prescott to complete 32-36 passes last week. Brees should be in for huge game.

Matt Ryan ($8100 on FD, $7200 on DK) – Ryan leads the NFL in yards per attempt (9.3) and passing points per attempt (.618). He has been a top-10 QB in the least three weeks. He gets to have Julio Jones return this week and faces the Panthers who he put over 500 yards up against in his first meeting.

Kirk Cousins ($7800 on FD, $6800 on DK) – Cousins is second in the NFL in passing yards per game. Before last week he had seven straight weeks of being a top-12 QB. Washington has a Vegas implied point total over 24 on the road.

Running Backs:

LeSean McCoy ($9100 on FD, $9000 on DK) – The Dolphins have a bottom five run defense this year. McCoy just put up 169 total yards with two touchdowns last week on the Browns. McCoy leads the NFL with 4.24 yards before contact per rush.

Jordan Howard ($7200 on FD, $6300 on DK) – Over his last seven games, Howard is averaging 101 yards rushing and over five yards per carry. The Redskins just allowed 132 yards rushing to Jonathan Stewart and are playing on a shorter week than the other teams as they played on Monday night.

Ty Montgomery ($6300 on FD, $5900 on DK) – Montgomery had 162 rushing yards last week against Chicago. He gets to play at home against the seemingly stingy Vikings defense. The Vikings just played at home and let up 34 point to the Colts, they now go on the road against Green Bay.
