NFL Week Three Picks

NFL Week Three Picks

As long as it felt we waited for football, we are already onto Week Three. We just had an unexpected barn burner of a Thursday Night game. Let’s hope those high scores cross over to the rest of the games. Please note, I didn’t include the London game in these picks, not that the Jaguars and Ravens have a lot to offer fantasy anyways. Let’s win some money!

The NFL Week Three Picks:

Cash Games

Quarterbacks:

Aaron Rodgers ($9300 on FD, $7300 on DK) –  Jordy and Cobb look like they are going to play this week. Rodgers has the second most yards in the league through two weeks. Only three touchdowns on the year that should positively flip for him and a Vegas implied team total of 27.75, Rodgers should be in store for a big game.

Matt Stafford ($7900 on FD, $6200 on DK) – Stafford finished as QB2 in week one at home. He only had to pass 21 times in the route of the Giants on MNF. Coming back home he faces an Atlanta team with a high powered offense with a Vegas implied game total of 50.5. Stafford is in a prime spot for another big game.

Running Backs:

Ty Montgomery ($7200 on FD, $6900 on DK) – At least 16 touches in each game so far in one of the league’s best offenses has been fruitful for Montgomery. He is one of the best dual threat runningbacks to carry the ball and catch it out of the backfield. A nine point home favorite with Aaron Rodgers at QB is a tremendous opportunity for some points.

Le’Veon Bell ($8700 on FD, $8800 on DK) – Bell hasn’t played like he normally does the first two weeks, but he is averaging 22 touches per game. The Bears defense are allowing the fourth most points per drive and Vic Fangio’s tenure in Chicago has a history of clamping down on outside wide receivers. I think Bell has his first big game this week.
