NFL Week Nine Picks
Take a look at who I like this week!
The NFL Week Nine Picks:
Drew Brees ($8300 on FD, $7000 on DK) – At home against a Bucs defense that is bottom five or ten in almost every defensive category. Start Brees.
Russell Wilson ($8500 on FD, $7300 on DK) – Wilson is red hot and averaging over 25 fantasy points per game since Week Three. Play him at home against a below average Redskins defense.
Mark Ingram ($7900 on FD, $7600 on DK) – Seven point home favorites and a Vegas implied game total over 50. Ingram is once again a safe floor play in a great matchup with the Bucs.
Carlos Hyde ($6500 on FD, $5200 on DK) – Double digit touches in all but one game and six targets in six of eight games. Hyde is a safe floor play against a Cardinals defense that has been average this year.
Michael Thomas ($7600 on FD, $7200 on DK) – See Brees and Ingram. All the Saints playmakers are viable plays this week.
Devin Funchess ($6100 on FD, $5400 on DK) – With Benjamin gone, it is time for Funchess to step up. He was slowly overtaking Benjamin in target share the past couple of weeks already. He should soak up a couple of the seven targets per game that Benjamin was receiving.
Jimmy Graham ($6200 on FD, $5000 on DK) – See Russell Wilson. With Wilson’s hot play, Graham has four touchdowns in the last three games and has had opportunities for plenty more. He’s a safe play at home against the Redskins.
Cam Newton ($7600 on FD, $6300 on DK) – Cam is in a mini slump right now. They just traded away his top wide receiver and have effectively sent the team a message. I think we see some vintage super Cam this week where he is rushing and throwing all over the suspect Falcons defense.
Derek Carr ($7800 on FD, $6400 on DK) – Carr has 730 yards passing over his last two games as the offense is starting to click. He faces a poor Miami defense that is allowing the highest completion percentage against it this year.
Alfred Morris ($5600 on FD, $5500 on DK) – We haven’t seen what the backfield looks like without Zeke yet, but the Cowboys came out and said Morris will be the starter. I expect him to get the most carries and goal line work. That is very valuable in this offense who still has playmakers like Bryant and Prescott.
Christian McCaffrey ($6100 on FD, $6500 on DK) – McCaffrey is cutting his teeth in the passing game and has seen over 9 targets per game over the past month. With Kelvin Benjamin gone, the Panthers should rely on him even more.
