Well, Here’s Your Value
This game could get quite ugly in a hurry. Jimmy Butler was sent home last night due to illness so he’ll be unavailable tonight along with Dwyane Wade who will be out due to rest. Butler probably shouldn’t have played last night because he was dreadful out there. He shot 0-6 from the floor for one point as the Bulls lost 109-94 to the Thunder. We may see Rajon Rondo tonight after he didn’t play on his own bobble-head night last night. For what it’s worth without Wade and Butler on the court this season, Nikola Mirotic has the highest usage (31.8%) and a very respectable production (0.98 FPPM). Everyone on Chicago is under $5,000 on both sites, so they will be popular for value tonight even with the spread being WAS -11.0. The Wizards have been rolling at home this year as they have a record of 14-6 at the Verizon Center. John Wall has scored less than 20 points in six of his last eight games. Wall’s assist numbers are impressive during those eight games however, as he’s averaged 11.75 APG. The Bulls were destroyed by the two Thunder center’s last night as they combined for 42 points and 16 rebounds. It’s safe to say Marcin Gortat is in a nice spot tonight. The Bulls are 22nd in the league in allowed points in the paint this season.
