We have a marquee matchup to start our night off. Not a marquee matchup because of the two teams playing, but because of two players on those teams. Joel Embiid has been wrecking big men across the NBA and tonight he sets his sights on Boogie, and I expect there to be some fireworks in this game. Embiid comes in to this game behind only Russell Westbrook in total usage at 37.6% and is leading the team with an 18% rebounding rate. Sacramento can be tough on centers at times, but I expect Boogie and Koufos to struggle with guarding Embiid tonight. He makes for a great play in GPPs due to the upside he has. We could see Okafor move in to the starting lineup, so we definitely need to keep an eye on that. Okafor is a sieve on the defensive end, so he will boost the value of Cousins and Gay in this spot. Darren Collison is in an excellent spot as well tonight, and I like him in cash games and GPPs.

We definitely need to keep an eye on Twitter tonight for news on the status of Jerryd Bayless and what starting lineup Brett Brown rolls out. I don’t have a lot of interest in Bayless in this spot, but Sergio Rodriguez makes for another good play if he gets the start. This is a revenge game Nik Stauskas who should come out firing, so he makes for a great play tonight against a Sacramento team that is allowing teams to shoot over 36% from downtown. Stauskas will continue to come off the bench but he plays almost 30 minutes per game. We have been attacking the Kings with SGs all season, so Gerald Henderson is also interesting in this spot.
