MLB Stacks of the Night: Tuesday May 30th

Good morning and welcome to the “Stacks of the Night”! This article will provide you with some team stacks that I am looking to get exposure to today.

Colorado Rockies

Opposing pitcher: Ariel Miranda (L)

Seattle Mariners left hander Ariel Miranda is an extreme fly ball pitcher going into the best hitters park in baseball tonight in Coors Field. In his short MLB career he has a fly ball rate of 48.8 % including a 53.3% rate to right handed hitters. In 2017 Miranda has pitched 26.2 innings each at home and on the road, however in the road starts he has given up eight of his ten homeruns. Without the cushion of a big ballpark like Safeco Field to pitch in it could be a rough night for Miranda. All the power hitting right handed bats for the Rockies are in play particularly Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story. All of Charlie Blackmon, Ian Desmond, Carlos Gonzalez and Mark Reynolds can be considered in a Rockies stack as well.

Nolan Arenado .586 WOBA, .529 ISO

Trevor Story .429 WOBA, .471 ISO

Charlie Blackmon .351 WOBA, .243 ISO

Mark Reynolds .329 WOBA, .188 ISO

Expected ownership: High
