MLB Stacks of the Night: Friday June 2nd

Good morning and welcome to the “Stacks of the Night”! This article will provide you with some team stacks that I am looking to get exposure to today.

Atlanta

Opposing pitcher: Bronson Arroyo (R)

The Atlanta Braves get to take on veteran right hander Bronson Arroyo tonight in Cincinnati. In 2017 Arroyo has been awful, pitching to a 7.24 FIP and allowing 18 homeruns in 51.2 innings. Arroyo has also allowed two or more homeruns in each of his last four starts. Hitters from both sides of the plate have a hard contact rate of over 35% against Arroyo this season while hitting a large quantity of fly balls. Matt Kemp, Nick Markakis and Matt Adams all have had success off Arroyo in the past in small sample sizes. Those three hitters would be the main guys I would look to stack around tonight with Ender Inciarte, Tyler Flowers and Brandon Phillips who is making his return to Cincinnati all in play as well.

Matt Kemp .417 WOBA, .258 ISO

Nick Markakis .329 WOBA, .089 ISO

Matt Adams .352 WOBA, .324 ISO

Tyler Flowers .421 WOBA, .120 ISO

Expected ownership: Medium
