CorsiHL’s Daily SMASHBOARD – March 27th, 2018

It’s been a marathon, but we’ve finally reached the last big day of NHL DFS contests for the season. It’s been a crazy ride this season, and we’ve got a great nine-game slate for the $360 DraftKings Spin-o-Rama tournament, with a whopping $100K going to first place. There’s one really chalky spot which will probably get significant ownership tonight, and a lot of good ones which we’ll be able to exploit at lower ownership:

PIT1: Guentzel-Crosby-Hornqvist, $20.7K:  The Penguins’ top line will be the undisputed chalk of the night, and for good reason. Volume shooter Patric Hornqvist will slide up beside Crosby, and two will also be correlated on PP1 against a dreadful Red Wings’ PK unit. Sidney Crosby himself has really turned things up a notch over the past couple weeks, and with the Red Wings stumbling towards the finish line and playing on the second half of a back-to-back tonight, this is the top spot on the board tonight. I do think there’s merit to ownership fading this spot tonight…it’ll be very chalky, and there are lots of good spots on the board. The 5v5 matchup is one of the best, and the PP matchup is miles away the top on the board today. D-man correlation play: Justin Schultz, $4,500
