CorsiHL’s Daily SMASHBOARD – March 14th, 2018

If you read yesterday’s SMASHBOARD, hopefully you weren’t a donkey like me and played JT Miller with your Tampa stack. What a tilt. Anyways, we’ve got a pretty gross five game slate tonight, with what feels like a ton of really pricey spots.

DAL1: Benn-Seguin-Radulov, $21.2K:  The Stars’ top line is going to be very contrarian tonight, and we know they’ve got big upside any time they play. The Leafs are playing just their second game in nine nights, and with the Stars playing last night in Montreal, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Dallas come out strong in this one as they’re fighting for their playoff lives. DAL1 has very, very good underlying numbers over the past couple weeks, although score effects are likely playing a role in those. Regardless, the Kadri line is not one we should fear in a spot like this, and if you’re looking for a contrarian spot with big upside, this is your line tonight. There’s definitely some #BlenderRisk with this line tonight, but luckily this is the first game on the slate so you’ll have some time to pivot if necessary before lock. D-man correlation play: John Klingberg, $5,500
