Plate Discipline – Tuesday, June 6th

I changed up the format of the article today focusing more on mini stacks and one off hitters I’m looking at tonight.

Arizona LHB vs. Dinelson Lamet: In his first two major league starts Dinelson Lamet has been very good allowing just three runs in 10 innings while striking out 16 hitters. While Lamet has baffle righties thus far with a massive 53.3% K rate he has been hit harder by left handed hitters. A 37.5% hard contact rate and a 56.3% fly ball rate to lefties could spell trouble at Chase Field tonight against the likes of Jake Lamb and David Peralta. I also have interest in Daniel Descalso and Chris Hermann for cheap options if they make the starting lineup tonight.
